Model of August 2016: Kaia Gerber

When looking back on the month of August and trying to decide which fashion icon dominated, there was one name that came to mind, Kaia Gerber. She may not be a house hold name, but she is climbing the ropes to becoming one of the most influential models of the millennium. Kaia was introduced into the fashion world at the age of 14, with the help from her mom, supermodel Cindy Crawford. Though, Kaia is on the way to being just as powerful as her mom, as seen from this last month.

So, let's see what Kaia has done this August:

1. She landed her first solo cover for Pop Magazine.

2. She was featured in Teen Vogue's Girl Power issue

3. She was shot by Kendall Jenner for the LOVE Magazine

4. She has been featured in American Vogue, alongside mom Cindy Crawford

In the past months, she has graced the cover of Paris Vogue, become a part of the Wang Squad, and modeled for Miu Miu. Kaia manages to make fashion look simple and effortless, all at the same time. In many of her fashion spreads, Kaia is seen wearing her own vintage jeans and outfits, with pops of the newest trends. Her look is Boho-Chic but comfortable. It is not unusual to see Kaia rocking a t-shirt, cut off jeans, and sneakers, just like any other teenager. But when it's time for a runway, she's not afraid to class it up with a Balmain mini dress.

In our opinion, Kaia is going to be the new muse for fashion. Her impact in the world of fashion earned her model of the month, and we can't wait to see what she does in the future.
